Plans, limits and storage

What counts against your plan, and what the limit messages mean.

Your plan sets how many workspaces and projects you can have, how large a project can be, and how much storage your account has in total. The pricing page lists the numbers for each plan.

The sidebar of the app shows your plan and a Storage meter.

What counts

  • Project size is the size of the project’s latest version: everything in the folder you push.
  • Storage is those sizes added up across your account. Older versions don’t add to it, because history is limited by how long a plan keeps it, not by size.
  • Previews don’t count. They are not part of project size, project count or storage.
  • The workspace owner’s plan applies. The projects in a workspace count against the plan of the person who owns that workspace.

When you hit a limit

A push that would go over a limit is refused before anything changes, and the app tells you which limit it was:

Message What it means
Your plan has reached its project limit. You have as many projects in this workspace as your plan allows.
This project is bigger than your plan allows. The folder is larger than the maximum project size. Remove files you don’t need, or move some audio out of the project.
Your account has run out of storage. The projects on your account add up to your storage allowance.

Nothing you have already saved is touched when a push is refused.
